Beth Krommes illustrator
A graduate of Syracuse University, where she earned a BFA in painting, Beth Krommes began illustrating picture books in 1999 with Grandmother Winter by Phyllis Root. She went on to win a Caldecott Award for her illustrations in Susan Marie Swanson's [The House in the Night](books). She resides in New Hampshire with her husband and daughters.
