Denise Fleming author, illustrator
Denise Fleming began her career as a more traditional artist but quickly became interested paper, and pulp painting became her primary medium. She creates stencils and pours colored paper through them to create boldly colored works. As a writer, she does not use many words, preferring to poetic concision -- "strong words, action words, words that convey movement and sound."
