Margaret Wild author
Born in South Africa, Margaret Wild has spent most of her adult life in Australia, where she began as a magazine feature writer and then worked as an editor in children's book publishing for over a dozen years. Simultaneous, Wild had a prolific career as an author, writing over seventy children's book and five novels. Her most awarded books include Fox and the The Very Best of Friends, and she received The Nan Chauncy Award in 2008 for her overall body of work in children's literature.
