Ruth Brown is an English author and illustrator. She began her career as an illustrator for children's television shows, which inspired her to look more closely at children's books. After her first child was born, she was motivated to try writing and illustrating picture books. That was over thirty years ago, and since then, she has authored and/or illustrated dozens of picture books.
